Here at CrossFit Reanimated, in Virginia Beach we offer Pilates not Yoga. We have realized a few things since we opened in 2014. 

  1. Not many people know the difference between the two
  2. Many people think both practices are just stretching.

In the beginning I actually had a hard time articulating the difference between the two. First off neither of them are just stretching...Both are challenging and offer benefits. 

While there are many differences these stick out the most in my mind.


  1. More time is spent holding posses. 
  2. has a more spiritual background


  1. You are always moving
  2. The focus is on the core strengthing not the spiritual side

This topic can be talked about in great depths, but I'll leave it here for today.
