Buffalo & BBQ Shredded Chicken

Can't decide between BBQ or Hot Sauce? What's a girl to do but put them together! My take on BBQ shredded chicken.  I came up with this recipe with some inspiration from our Nutrition Partner Healthy Steps Nutrition. I made a combination of their BBQ Pulled Chicken and Buffalo Chicken

Ingredients:

1 lb Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/4 cup Stubs BBQ Sauce
1/2 Cup Franks Red Hot Sauce
3 TBS Fresh chopped Garlic or Garlic Powder
Salt & Pepper

Directions: (Dutch Oven)

1. Sprinkle Chicken Breast with Salt, Pepper and Garlic Powder.
2. Heat Cast Iron Dutch Oven and drizzle with 1/2 tablespoon of Olive Oil
3. When hot place Chicken Breast and for 2 minutes per side.
4. Turn temperature down to low or simmer
5. Mix hot sauce and BBQ sauce and fresh garlic together. Pour over Chicken
6. Cover and cook for about 30-45 min
7. When chicken is done remove from pan and cut up or pull apart
8. Return to pan with sauce and simmer for another 10-15 minutes.

Directions: (Crock Pot)

1. Sprinkle Chicken Breast with Salt, Pepper and Garlic Powder.
2. Place Chicken in CrockPot
3. Sprinkle with Garlic Powder or Fresh Garlic
4. Mix together Hot Sauce and BBQ Sauce then pour over chicken
5. Cook on low for 6 hours
6. Pull chicken apart with forks and let cook for another 30min.
7. Add more hot sauce and seasoning to taste.

Serving size 4-6 oz depending on your meal plan
